From Monrif Hotels to EGA Hospitality
We are an independent Italian hotel management company specialising in hotels of 4 stars and above in the upper upscale and boutique segment.
Our story
Since 1971 Emiliana Grandi Alberghi has been running hotels in Bologna. For many years our hotels were known as Monrif Hotels: the Royal Hotel Carlton, Hotel Internazionale and Hotel Brun, three addresses in the heart of the city.
EGA Hospitality is the evolution of that story. It stems from the path of evolution and generational change undertaken by Monrif S.p.A., aimed at developing its existing businesses with greater strength and determination, always in Italy.
Today hospitality is at the centre of our plans. We keep running our Bologna hotels with care and we are looking for new partners, owners and investors, to grow across Italy: the first step is Hotel Mercure Reggio Calabria, scheduled to open in 2027.
Our approach
